We all know how FIITJEE is—it’s just a mess with the marks and everything. Half the time they forget to even give us marks for half of the paper. It’s so common that it’s practically expected at this point. They don’t even seem to care that they have to give bonus marks all the time, which honestly seems useless. It just makes everyone’s marks go up by the same amount, so the rank stays the same.
But I’m not here to talk about the regular tests. The real issue is with the year changing exam, the RESHUFFLING test. It’s just so unfairly uniform that if a teacher doesn’t like you, you end up in the lower batches even if your marks are higher. Meanwhile, students who have connections, like MAK’s daughter, end up in the top batch despite getting lower marks compared to those in lower batches. It’s crazy how someone can suddenly perform so well only on the reshuffling exam.
It’s pretty clear that having a teacher as a parent means default top-batch placement, while paying big money and the teacher hating you—even though you get good marks—gets you placed in the lower batch. FIITJEE is seriously messed up—education has turned into a political game where connections and money matter more than actual performance.
i wanted to post about this but you beat me to it
“Students will be reshuffled purely on the basis of their performance in the reshuffling test. ” – this is a direct quotation from balraj’s message forwarded to all the groups. pretty ironic
