I won’t lie, I wasn’t the mastermind that figured it out, I am too dumb for that, however, I was fortunate enough to receive a full explanation on how this shit hole of a college conducts its batch shuffling. (Applies heavily to seniors and a bit to juniors.)
Here is how my mastermind of a friend thinks the shuffling system works, and it seems accurate enough:
Fiitjee lies to you.
Here I have a direct quote from a whatsapp message sent by mr balraj:
Students will be reshuffled purely on the basis of their performance in the reshuffling test.
This is done to maintain homogeneity of student peer groups across all the batches which will lead to a better learning experience for all students.
You think that’s a complete load of bull crap? You’re correct! (try joining kaun banega crorepathi)
They tell you that the shuffling test is conducted purely on your performance in the so called 3+3 hours of tests. This is their first lie.
The staff at fiitjee (im looking at you mr balraj and chakravarthy, i am going to shoot you between the eyes someday.) first pull up a list of the shuffling exam results, like how you would get a marks list after each exam, sorted by 1st rank to last, then all the teachers meet and they read out names, and decide if he is “hard working” or not. (This is how retards get first batch, or should I say, a retard’s guide to first batch) Example: MNS, our beloved air headed humanity hating maths sir recommends people who do all their workbooks every single day and show the workbooks to them to go into a higher batch etc.
In short: if the teachers do not know you, no matter how much you get or if you get top 10 in the whole branch (which my friend did, with 198 marks combined in the shuffling test) You still wont be able to get into the so called “first batch”. HOWEVER, if you smooth talk the teachers, show them you do so much “hard work”, no matter your marks you will end up in the first batch.
A few prime examples I took from the senior’s shuffling test:
– 74 marks in shuffling test combined, in second batch because their teachers liked him, whereas others got 140+ and stayed in third batch because they don’t interact much with other people.
– 140 marks in shuffling test combined, got first batch thanks to teacher’s recommendations, when people with 180 ended up in second batch.
At the end of the day, there are only 10-20 people who truly deserve the section they are sitting in right now, at least in the top 2 senior batches.
Also point I’d like to add: The other fiitjee branches don’t conduct the shuffling test like this, it is conducted purely based on the shuffling test marks, no other bullshit. Another reason to hate fiitjee DSNR, can’t even blame fiitjee for this one.
A few smart parents figured this out, or so I believe, and called the fiitjee staff demanding explanation, I don’t know how that went for them though.
First year’s shuffling is a scam it’s just based upon whether you lick the teachers ass for a month or not
But second year’s shuffling is comparatively better because teachers with time do realise legit and actors in the class
My friend got 110 marks and is in the first batch whereas I got 120 and i got second batch another guy got 170 marks and is in 4th batch . This is not due to poor shuffling or teachers playing favourites
The first guy works very hard even though his marks are less
The last guy is dumbass who just happened to sit beside a topper during reshuffle test
Although I agree there are people in batches they don’t belong in but that count is comparatively less than first year’s shuffling
